In our first month together, we’ve done a lot! The first week we went to a concert with a choir as well as a military band and Nootka was so good. We attended a Remembrance Day parade & ceremony, visited many businesses including a couple of pet stores where there were lots of dogs and she was on her best behaviour everywhere we went. She came to work for the first time and behaved so perfectly, even in meetings she lay under the boardroom table quietly. This past weekend I took her to a celebration of life gathering where there were lots of people who wanted to meet and pet her but we explained that she was learning. They admired her from a distance so she rewarded them with a show of her best behaviour as we went around the venue and talked to people. Our next challenge will be to tackle the Canada Line but we need to conquer the elevator first and we will!
