Cleat spent a day with a sitter in June, who took him home, out to Deer Lake Park for a play time, then to Shadbolt Centre for a piano recital. He was great with people and showed them lots of love. He was very focused with food which made for great loose leash walking.
Cleat was really good around small children and dogs. He would let the kids pet him while focusing on his handler (with treats). Kids would run right in front of him but he stayed calm in his “down” position. When there were other dogs passing by, he would show interest but was calm and did not lunge towards them, unless they came very close, in which case he would try to play with them.
