I have gotten better and better at the stand cue as the month has progressed! I can now stand for over three minutes while waiting for the release cue! I do think that being around all the other puppies in class makes things more difficult for me, but I will try to work on holding my positions for longer in those situations. I am so good at not reacting to other dogs as I go for long walks. Now, I just look up at Nigel when another dog passes by.
I have been using my time away from class to work on many of the basics I learned long ago, such as “go in”. I also practice my newer skills, to remain strong at them.
