It is a stressful world right now. Due to COVID, I am working to remind students of the need to wear masks in public and Strudel sits by my side.
I have seen stressed and lonely students come alive and ask questions about her. They miss their own families and pets, and seeing Strudel sitting happily at my side wipes away the stress for a few minutes.
