Hi everyone! October was a pretty boring month for me, but I still managed to get some excitement in! I went to my first UBC men’s soccer game! My raiser said I cheered super loud in the first half… but they scored twice in the second half and won! I would like to think they heard me out there on the field rooting for them, but then I settled and let them play after halftime. I also had to get up at 5 am to catch the ferry to Victoria because some hoomans wanted to be there in time to watch football the morning of Thanksgiving. It wasn’t the most pleasant ride as I had to share the back seat with 2 hoomans AND my bernedoodle friend, but we had a lovely visit with them and a yummy Thanksgiving dinner. It was a short trip, and we had to go home the next day, but I was still excited because we hosted Friendsgiving! There was a lot more yummy food and tons of friends to mingle with; I could get used to this holiday thing. Finally, I went to go support our UBC men’s soccer team again – my raiser was very proud of me for not cheering this time. I knew the crowd had that under control and decided I would rather nap. I hear I have a busy upcoming month and can’t wait for what else is in store for us!
