December was an exciting month for Piper! She provided puppy-loving to fellow students during their last few days of the semester; she travelled out to Invermere, BC for the Christmas Holidays and enjoyed hanging out with Derby! I have quickly come to learn that Piper loves the snow, so much so that she gets zoomies. She also enjoys sticking her nose in the snow and digging up buried sticks…she even found an oven mitt! Along with all the fun activities Piper has done, she has also worked on her duration during training exercises, her “heels,” “sides,” and “stand.” All of the commands are coming along quite well as Piper continually impresses me with her ability to learn what I am asking of her quickly.
