Duchess has crushed the first month of being back in middle and high school. She settles into the rhythms quite well and is unfazed by the commotion around her. She loves the pets and cuddles from others, and she is quickly learning what it means to appropriately say hi to the kiddos at school. She is affectionately known as she sneaks a paw onto students and adults when she is settling, just to know that she is close by if she ever needs them.
This month Duchess got to experience many sports games, field trips to farms and malls and went to the Vancouver Aquarium for a class trip. She was definitely more excited about the other dogs on the class trip than the fish, people and other sea creatures. She was definitely curious about the sea lions, especially when they barked at her.
