November was a big month for our big girl! She became a lady AND celebrated her first birthday AND experienced the magic of Christmas with her first-ever Christmas tree. Much of the month was spent mellowing out with sitters as she could not go in public during her heat. However, during those times, she was able to hang out with fun dogs like PADS Edith, PADS Dusky and PET Kenny.
We also got to celebrate this gentle giant’s birthday. We celebrated Duchess with a pupcake and a fun play session outside. It was neat to think about the year and the growth that she has shown. Recently, she added side, heel, and chin to her repertoire. She is also working on stamina and endurance to support her in her durations for sit, stand and down in distracting areas (although she is happy to do a down duration for as long as you need!)
