October was a fun month with the weather and leaves changing and Halloween. Much to her dismay, the fall weather also means rain. There have been lots of games played in the drizzle and puddles. Thanksgiving was spent at a remote cabin with family allowing for some off-leash walks with Dane the Greyhound.

Halloween puppy class was lots of fun with dressed-up dogs and raisers, relay games and bobbing for hotdogs. Our little elephant enjoyed the party.

On Halloween, there was a work party in the office and Shadow impressed everyone as a rodeo pony and a pumpkin. A trip to the mall on Halloween weekend was extra exciting due to all the kids dressed up and trick-or-treating. A few people stopped us to ask about PADS and puppy training.

Shadow continues to charm her sitters with her cuddles and adorable antics.

Bonus Pupdate: What a pawsome weekend at Christie’s Resort! I had the time of my life full of tail-wagging fun and rest. You know when they say that a dog should be emptying its bucket when it’s full? Well, I am not sure mine was that full, but it sure got emptied out. I literally did nothing but rested, played games like Tug of War, solved tricky dog puzzles, and snuffled through mats that had hidden kibbles. We also cuddled like crazy – confirming that I am a snuggle expert – when they were watching the Rugby World Cup! It was a weekend of pure joy, and some could even call it a pawfect retreat.
