Born on July 26, 2024, these future superheroes were named after members of the iconic A&W burger family, spokesperson, and mascot.

Rooty – Bear Mascot
Teenie – Teen Burger
Whistle – Whistle Dog
In late September of 2024, these little pups put on their signature yellow PADS vests and began the journey of becoming life-changing assistance dogs.

A big thank you to the incredible team from A&W Canada who joined us for a work day at our Burnaby Campus in late September! Not only did they help beautify our space with some much-needed landscaping, but they also got to meet the adorable PADS puppies-in-training they are sponsoring.
Even Rooty the Root Bear made an appearance, bringing smiles all around! Weโre grateful for your hard work, enthusiasm, and continued support in helping us change lives, one dog at a time!
