PADS Pride T-Shirt Design Contest

Each year, for many years, PADS has participated in Pride with our wagging, loving, adorable canine companions at our side.

During this participation we have worn PADS shirts emblazoned with messages of love with PRIDE!Β  During these challenging times we may not be able to march, but we do want to continue to both celebrate and show our support. A portion of the profits will also support local LGBTQ2+ charities. If you’d like your charity to be considered please submit a request through the contact us page.

Help us get our pride on by submitting your very own PRIDE shirt design for a chance to be featured in our online store! This year PADS is having a T-shirt design contest to help us connect Pride Month in June to Vancouver Pride in August!

Winner Announcement: July 17th

Prize:Β 

  1. A free shirt with your design,
  2. A visit with an upcoming litter at the PADS campus
  3. Bragging rights and your design featured in our upcoming online store!

Design Guidelines

  1. Designs must be suitable for kids and adults alikeΒ 
  2. All designs must be original. By submitting a design, you are declaring that you hold original rights to everything in it, and granting rights to the art to PADS for the purpose of creating a 2021 Pride T-Shirt.
  3. Designs may not exceed 11” wide by 12”highΒ 
  4. Design will appear on the front of a solid-color shirt (approximate maximum dimensions are 9″x9″)Β 
  5. Designs may have multiple colours
  6. Vector art is recommended (if you don’t know what this means it’s ok- send us your idea anyway – we can likely still work with it!)Β 

Submitting your design:Β 

  1. It’s recommended to create your design in Adobe Illustrator or a similar design program. Entries should include the original file, a vector-based EPS file, a high resolution JPEG or PDF file.Β  If this language is greek to you, please provide the design in the highest resolution possible and we will find a way to work with it.
  2. One entry per person
  3. Entries become the property of PADS

Winner Selection

The PADS team will choose 3 finalists after the submission deadline. The finalists will then be shared on PADS.ca for voting for the favourite design. Winner will be announced on July 17th.Β
