βShe is already our super star,β says Lori about their VIP, Starr, who arrived early September. After their beloved Labrador died, their daughters Elise, now 15, and 12 year old Renee, (who has anxiety disorder) had difficulty getting over the loss.
It was ironic that Starr was released from PADS due to anxiety -βshe doesnβt like to travel by car. βLiving in Dunbar, we walk most places and we are a family that understands anxiety so Starr is a perfect fit. We all benefit from her, she is quirky, playful and affectionate.β The whole family has signed on to volunteer at PADS and plan to sponsor a puppy.
