With everything closed down these days, we have focused Greco’s training on what we can do in the house and around our neighbourhood. Because of the warmer weather and open windows, Greco’s sound environment has changed and he initially responded with more alert barking. Now that he’s used to the sounds of our street, that has calmed down. He has learned the cues “perch”, which means put front paws onto something elevated off the floor, and “bed”, which means go to your bed and lie down. Here’s a photo of Greco doing “perch”.
