December was full of new things for me. The neighbourhood changed and had more colour and activity. I was not sure about some of the decorations at first, but after my raisers explained that they were just like the Halloween ones, I was okay. We did not get to go visit my short raiser’s raisers for Christmas as travel was still restricted so my raisers decided that they would get a Christmas tree this year as we were “staying home” for Christmas. I was happy to go along to help pick out a tree and also help the tall raiser navigate around (even though I am not training to be a guide dog) as his glasses fogged up really bad. We had a quiet Christmas and I got to go down to the beach for the last day of the year.
