I had a fairly calm October. For the first part of the month, I had my buddy PADS Myrtle staying with us. But she went into heat and we could no longer play off-leash in the forest. My raiser says that this will be the case for me too when my time comes. Once Myrtle left it was kinda boring around our house, my raisers are just not as fun as another puppy – at least I had my stuffed friends! I continued my training and went into grocery stores and on the bus a few times. I also got to go to an actual puppy-class with my handsome friend Dennis. We went on a long car ride to IKEA and got to see Trainer Dana and a few other PADS puppies.

At the end of the month, everyone started getting super excited about Halloween and many houses in my neighborhood started putting out scary jack o’ lanterns and other spooky stuff. I did not like it at first, but my raisers told me that it was no big deal (it helped that they gave me cookies while telling me this). I also did not like the fireworks that were going off all the time, but a few more cookies helped me get through it.
