ArcticΒ had a busy month of work and play! We have been working hard on adding duration to ‘down,’ which can be challenging as Arctic loves to offer behaviours if he isn’t rewarded immediately. He is learning that just because he doesn’t receive food or verbal praise doesn’t mean he is wrong. We have begun shaping ‘side,’ which he enjoys because it allows him to move. Arctic often jumps from a centre position to a ‘side’ and is working on keeping his excitement in check. He is such a fun puppy to train!
In our off time, we have been spending time at the off-leash park and playing in the pool in the backyard. He adores Bruno, and the two of them often try to chew on the same bone or lie on top of each other.
