Aster has found herΒ Furever HomeΒ as a Very Important Pet!
As a former police chief, Jim Cessford was familiar with PADS as Delta was the first police department in Canada to use assistance dogs. When he was diagnosed with cancer a year ago, his family applied for a VIP. He describes Aster, a two year old yellow Labrador/golden retriever as a rascal but an intelligent one who knows some 15 commands but itβs her playful personality that his family loves. She lets them know if they are late for a walk and she tells them when she is ready for a swim.
