It was a relatively quiet month for us after the crazy holiday season while we started to get back into some daily routines. Mum found I was a little rusty with some of my manners on our outings (I’m 10 months old now and really like to sniff things so occasionally I need reminding to stay focused on my handler), but I got back into my groove pretty quickly.
Online puppy classes have also started up again, we’re working on switching between “Heel” and “Side” positions and using a perch pot to work on pivoting our hind end while the front feet stay stationary. This is really important for being able to maneuver in tight spaces. My Brother Tiller really likes perch work so sometimes he tries to commandeer the bucket so he gets a turn.
This month I’ve also had the opportunity to visit one of our fabulous Sitters a few times while the human’s go skiing. So far I’ve really enjoyed my day trips and they’re awed by my good looks and cuddly nature (YAY!).
Hopefully next month we’ll be able to start having some in person classes again.
