CADENCE enjoyed the holiday season, especially loving all the friends that she got to visit and all the new friends she got to make! Cadence spent time this month working with Margaret on various service skills and has been working on retrieving basic objects and is almost ready to move into working with more complex items. Cadence was able to attend the PADS Volunteer Christmas party this year and was a great example for the puppies-in-training in attendance, maintaining her manners even with all the distractions of a busy PADS social event. Cadence enjoyed some nice rest and relaxation with her people over the PADS holiday break and is keen to get working again in the new year!
- Skills being learned: Retrieve, ‘button’, ‘tug’, ‘push.’
- Recent field trips: the PADS Volunteer Christmas Party, various training field trips with Margaret and her advanced sitter.
- Possible behavior challenges: Separation anxiety.
- Potential career path: Service
