Cheshire had a busy month, going on many field trips in the Lower Mainland, including Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, and Surrey. Later on, she traveled to Oregon. She enjoyed attending a recent car show and had many opportunities to practice her off-leash recall while on dog beaches in Oregon. We’ve been working hard on her recall in some very distracting environments, and while some days are better than others, she’s showing improvement. However, Cheshire still seems to be a bit sensitive to tight spaces in some public places. Her strength is her love of being with her people. She’s great at deep pressure relaxation and has also been learning some interrupter behaviors, including leg bouncing and hand fretting.
Thanks again for your love and support of Cheshire.
