Chess experienced a baby this month and was very curious about the baby crawling on the floor. The baby is the size of her stuffy and Chess wanted to grab his feet. Once she understood it was not allowed she just watched the baby do his thing. She did a lot of sniffing when the baby was placed on the floor.
Chess also interacted with a cat sitting on the window ledge. She was mostly curious, so when the cat hissed at her, she just smelled the cat’s breath and walked away. She saw a cat on the grass during our walk and just ignored it. When she saw some deer, she watched them but did not do anything and just continued on our walk.
We are working on ‘here’ with high value treats.Β Although she is getting better she is not responding reliably so we need to continue to work on that!
