Do you remember in June when I told you that being in heat is boring? It is, but during the holidays, it’s really tough as everyone has so many commitments and places to go to.

My second heat started on Dec 1st, which means that I lost public access right at the beginning of the month! In this case, it saved me from Christmas shopping. Phew….lucky me, right. 😉

This heat is a little different than the first one, and it feels like it’s lasted longer, so I haven’t worn my yellow vest once this month … oh wait! I did wear it once, and this was for my raisers to grab a quick picture of me with Santa Paws.

I had not met that big guy before, so it was a special day. He recognized that I am a very good girl who always tries to please, is eager to learn, and can settle everywhere I go. Apparently, those good traits of character got me on the ‘nice list’ so I could ask for whatever gift I wanted for Christmas. I love all sorts of toys, but recently my stuffed monkey lost his tail, so I asked for a new one. I got the same type of toy as Monkey, but this time it’s a grey raccoon. I love it, and you should have seen me opening my gift. I was so good, and my expressive personality made everyone around me understand that I loved my gift – it didn’t take me a second to take it away and play with it.

I also got to play a little in the snow this month, even though I had to be on a leash at all times. Since I am from Edmonton, snow isn’t a big deal for me, so I didn’t get that excited, and I can confidently say that I don’t like the fact that I have to wear snow boots during that time of year.

That’s all for me, really, my monthly activities were restricted to resting, staying at home with my feline sister Luna, going to or hosting family and holiday pawties, training indoors, and playing with my new toys. Hopefully, next month will be a little more stimulating for me and interesting for you. 😉

I won’t give you more pupdates until the new year, so let me take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful New Year’s Eve and the very best for 2023!
