Hello!

This is me, little PADS Copper. I’d like to start by thanking you so much for sponsoring me and know that I am going to work hard to make you proud.

I’ll let you know every month about my adventures, progress, and my training. It’s hard to remember everything this month because so much has happened! My car ride from Edmonton to Vancouver, meeting my raisers for the first time, socializing in so many places, and starting my training, I have covered a lot since the beginning of the month, and I won’t bore you with the details, but I have my own Facebook page and Instagram account where I post almost daily.

For now, let me keep it to the basics and tell you more about me. I am 13 weeks old, I love sleeping, I can loose leash walk confidently, I like playing with my toys, I love cuddling, and I have understood what ‘luring’ means. The world is so big that I am fascinated by my surroundings and am very curious. I am brave and fearless at times but can also calculate my next move…especially when it comes to my toys – they tend to be predictable, which helps 😉 Finally, the two hoomans who are with me 24/7 adore me, and I don’t mind assisting them in their day-to-day lives. I spend most of my ‘working’ days in Chinatown, but I also ‘work’ in Coquitlam for a couple of days a week. I think it’s a nice balance, and apart from taking public transit once, I have been lucky to get escorted every day.

Tonight is Halloween, and I don’t know about you, but I am ready for it. My costume is on, and I have a high-vis leash and collar for the night. They told me that we will keep it short & sweet like all the other experiences that I have been exposed to these last 27 days.
