DAEGAN is one of the newest Island recruits this month and settled into island life nicely! He is spending lots of time getting to know Rob and starting introduction service skills and is enjoying learning foundational skills like βpushβ to close doors and βlightβ to turn on the lights. Daegan is enjoying making new friends in Vimy and his brother Dax and getting to know the volunteers who assist Rob with training tasks. When he is not training with Rob, Daegan enjoys going for walks around the neighborhood and playing in the yard with Dax and Vimy.

- Recent field trips: Local library and off-leash dog park, Downtown Nanaimo, various additional training field trips.
- Possible behavior challenges: Hesitation to put things into his mouth other then dog toys.
