Dax is working on moving sideways with gentle collar pressure. He is also working on loose leash walking in high distraction areas. Dax went on a daytrip to Whistler this month and loved running on the frozen Nitka Lake. He also hosted a canine visitor in his home for a week by the name of Lucky. Lucky is an older, very small terrier and did not want to play with Dax which Dax found disappointing but eventually accepted. Dax also learned after only one reminder that he was not to touch Lucky’s water and food which were out in separate dishes. Dax also went on an overnight puppy sitting adventure with Tony Tsang and his small terrier. The theme of the month was learning to ignore or be calm within a home setting with other dogs who do not wish to engage in play.
