It’s been a couple of months of adjustments for me as I’ve moved from the Fraser Valley to the Tri-Cities for a change of pace. I was set to get ready for Advanced Training when I went into heat so I’ve been adjusting to a new schedule and new environments instead. I’d say I’ve had lots of emotions about all these changes. My new person gave me time to settle in and we’ve been working hard at getting to work as a pair. She describes me as a snail walker that is ready to sniff the roses. I like to do things on my own time and comfort.

My new human has me working in a school setting. I get to spend every day with medium-sized humans who give me love and attention. They take care of me making sure I have a full water bowl, and some toys to chew and comfort me. At recess, they have been making sure I get my daily exercise on the field and then bring me back to my human. They really do love me. Now that school is out for human, it is time for me to consider if I want to do more doggy school and head to advanced training.

I’m very lucky to have so many caring people looking out for me and my happiness. I’ve made so many new human friends this last month, and all say I have a special something about me!
