It has been a busy month with our North Shore community of PADS volunteers. I have been doing some lovely outings mentoring new raisers and sitters so they can get hands-on experience with a pup that is further along in its training.
I was honoured to attend the Burnaby RCMP’s cheque presentation in honour of Constable Shaelyn Yang Legacy Committee.
Balancing this training involved a trip to Pemberton to relax, and we got to observe this herd of horses enjoying the new spring grass. I have discovered that lovely Folie makes the perfect headrest when I need a break.
