HickoryΒ is a very happy, sweet, and polite boy. He has shown that he loves to spend time with his people and dog friends that he trusts. He has beautiful foundation skills, and his puppy raisers should be very proud of such a lovely boy they raised. However, Hickory has shown us that he can be quite uncomfortable around unseen noises, certain dogs and people he doesn’t know and will often bark at them.Β
For these reasons, and after very careful consideration, we have decided that Hickory would be happiest being a pet in a home where he can build a trusting relationship with a select few people he trusts. They can help him out when he feels uncomfortable. He will be an amazing addition to someone’s home, and we wish Hickory and his forever family all the best as he transitions into life out of cape.
