Jewel is such a little sweetie – she gets better and better every day!
We are working on dog distraction still but her ability to turn off her “wanting to play with every dog” switch is getting much better.Β We still need to work on her “too happy” jump on greeting she often gives to humans who walk right up to her, but she sits very nicely when I let children come and pet her.Β
Jewel enjoys playing with other PADS puppy friends in the water.Β She doesn’t like to go farther in the water than where her paws touch the ground.Β As soon as she notices she’s getting beyond that depth, she turns around as fast as she can so she can touch the bottom again.Β (And she’s half Labrador retriever!)
