ABOUT PADS

PADS dogs are raised and trained on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.

We acknowledge the importance of these lands and their history. We do this to reaffirm our commitment and responsibility in improving relationships between nations and to improving our own understanding of local Indigenous peoples and their cultures.

We breed, raise and train fully certified assistance dogs. Our service (mobility & PTSD) and hearing dogs provide life-changing independence to those with disabilities. Our accredited facility dogs work with community professionals, such as teachers, RCMP and psychologists to help support healthy communities.

PADS is a fully accredited member of Assistance Dogs International.

Woo-hoo! The Exclamation Litter met their raisers and sitters earlier this month and have embarked on their next exciting adventure!

A round of applause for their Breeder Caretakers Kailea and Chris, and of course their momma, PADS Pear, for taking such great care of these puppies for the last 8 weeks.

Whether you clean kennels or do data entry, refine Advanced Dog skills or stay up at night with baby puppies, raise dogs or sit them - THANK YOU! Without you, there would be no PADS.

Thank you to everyone who came out to help with the BC Distilled Festival this past weekend, including our volunteers and their pups. We raised $5,500 to help PADS place more life-changing service dogs!

❤️ We would especially like to thank Alex, Katherine, and the BC Distilled Volunteers who worked so hard to make this event a success!

🍸 Thank you to the generous Distillers for contributing amazing items to our online auction, and to Elevate Auctions for making it all happen behind the scenes.

🐾 And of course a big shout out to all of our wonderful PADS volunteers. Whether you packaged silent auction items, sold 50/50 tickets, or made someone's day by introducing them to your pups, we're so glad that you were there!
