Hello PADS Village – it’s PADS Puppy Kashtin here with more news about all the amazing things I’ve been getting up to!!!
July was a great month for me. Lots of new experiences, like my first time on a bus. It was really crowded, but everyone was happy to make some room for me and was careful not to step on my toes. I also took a trip to Granville Island on a little water taxi – that was a lot of fun. There was a group of little kids in the taxi, and my hooman let them say hello to me – and I got to say hello back.
My hooman is always trying to teach me new things – lately we’ve been working on getting into his car. I don’t like jumping into the back, but I’ve started jumping out – usually. And I can climb through the side door, so at least he doesn’t have to lift me all the time. I’m almost 50 lbs. now, so he says I’m getting too big to be lifted!!
My hooman took me to the Khatsahlano Street Party this year, and he says I was a “rock star”, even with all the people and noise. And I went to my first movie theatre, and to a play on Granville Island. I slept through most of those events, though.
So I had a great July . . . now I can’t wait to see what August brings!!
