Lohn reached a milestone in his puppy-in-training journey as he participated in his GDBart assessment in the month of November. During his free time, he did some outings with some of his PADS friends. He also had the opportunity to do a two-week puppy swap with a different raiser and proved that his basic skills, obedience and house manners are transferrable to a different handler.

Bonus Pupdate:Β As part of our puppy class, we participate in 2-week-long puppy swaps. This gives the dogs new experiences and living situations and gives us handlers a chance to work with other pups as well. I was given the pleasure of having Mr Lohn join our household! Lohn is tall, handsome, and always devotes 150% effort to everything he does. His skills and obedience reflect the time and dedication his raiser has invested in him – he was a (very exuberant) star! This busy guy looooves to move and run! Off-leash walks are definitely a favourite thing to do – so much so that he ran an extra 5 km on our normal 4km trail!!!! The things you can find out when you get the dog to carry your cellphone to track his distance. We visited IKEA, a couple of restaurants, the grocery store, and the pet store and visited my parents for dinner. Lohn is such a great guy and is welcome back anytime.Β
