Having Lucy around is a lesson in living life to the fullest. It’s hard to feel anything but joy when she’s around. Even if she’s doing something naughty, she’s doing it with such vigour that you have to smile.Β
This month she went to her first movie! I was a bit concerned as it was a movie with a dog, and Lucy is an avid TV watcher, and we’ve been working on her staying calm while watching a show. She seems to take everything in as real-life so having a dog on the screen causes excitement. However, she was a perfect date and a hit with all the other moviegoers.Β
She is slowly getting used to my 2-year-old niece and vice versa. This has been an ongoing challenge as Lucy’s high energy is a bit much for my niece, but the more they see each other, the more comfortable things become.Β
