Happy Spring,
Does spring mean spring training, it sure does in my house! The month started with an eye exam, happy to report my big brown eyes are just fine.
Training continues at malls and pet stores, physio with mom, walking nicely with friends. One of our classes was at Metrotown Mall, mom calls it Mentaltown cause it’s always so busy, and it certainly was. It was tricky walking nicely with all the dogs in the class, going on the elevator with my classmates, especially my sister Electra, and going up and down the stairs. It’s really important to do well at all these things, and I’m trying.
We’ve been at the cabin a few times, I get to go to my favourite place to run, which also means if there’s water I’ll find it. Mom did “pawdicure Sunday” which means a bath, blow dry and nail trim so I always look & smell good.
My friend PADS Sesame came for a visit, we had so much fun together, he’s only 6 months old and bigger than me. We played tug, I was pulling him across the carpet, and mom said I’m a tough & strong cookie.
We had a really fun homework assignment, it was getting together with a PADS friend and going somewhere for coffee or lunch, and we doggos had to settle. We went with PADS Shadow and her raisers to a brewery called Yellow Dog, not named after me. It was a beautiful day and very busy with people, a couple of trains went by and tooted their horns. Shadow & I were very good girls, no beer for us though.
I hope everyone had a good Easter, I had an Easter Egg hunt, and mom had to help open the eggs I found, no chocolate for me, just kibble.
