Maize has been with us for about 6 weeks and he is a smart, loving, fun dog to have around. We have been busy working on his loose leash walking and controlling his excitement when he sees other dogs, and sometimes people, while walking. He is getting better! Maize is very smart and picks up on new things quickly. He is working really hard at making friends with our younger cat. He loves kids and is always excited when our son’s friends come over.
We have been to Walmart and Southcentre Mall a couple of times where he did great. He’s been to hockey arenas, baseball diamonds, a lacrosse game, Petland, a few restaurants, a movie theatre, and on many walks through Fish Creek Park. He was at the Calgary Pet Expo and did well once he settled in.
