January was filled with extra days at home due to the cold weather and extended school Winter Break. Marley was happy to get back into his usual routine when the break was over.Β
The highlight of Marley’s month was an off-leash walk on a sunny but chilly day when he saw a small herd of deer. He was confident they would make great new friends and wanted to play with him. Sadly, he was disappointed when the deer had other ideas and ran away, so he made the best of the walk by sniffing all the smells of a new area and enjoying the sunshine while bounding up and down the hills.Β
Marley also joined his handler at a training course for a few days. The other participants were thrilled to have his gentle, calming presence and big brown eyes in the class.
