June was an interesting and eventful month. Over the last few weeks, I have had the opportunity to spend time with a couple of Sitters, as well as with my Raiser. As well, I made another big excursion on BC Ferries, so that I could spend some great outdoor time in the Gulf Islands. I love practicing my recall on the big, sandy beaches or open fields. I am working at overcoming distractions like deer droppings in the field; and when I do, I get a big jackpot kibble reward and tons of praise.
I have also been around lots of young kids, and I am happy to say that I seem to be calmer than they are! It was fun sitting at the roadside, watching the Lynn Valley Parade. I was pretty chill, even with all that distraction happening.
There are more adventures to come as summer unfolds.
