It’s Miss Mochi here! I have a few exciting things to share about life with my new human raiser.

She’s a student, so I’ve been spending time lots of time on the UBC Campus… I miss my sister Sassy, but I really like it here because I’ve made some new friends from the Campus Canines Cohort. November was a tough month for my human since she had lots of exams for school, but I got to chill out in the library with her and work on my settling. It was challenging at first, but I got the hang of it after a few weeks. Also, a lot of humans have stopped and said hi to me on campus- they all say I’m super cute! But my human doesn’t let me say hi back because we are busy working on our skills.

My human says that I’ve become more stubborn recently… she thinks I’ve entered the adolescence phase, but I don’t see it. I’m just very curious about all of these new environments! And I just love chewing on anything soft I see! My human is very understanding, though. She’s been helping me manage my curiosities.

The highlight of my month was reconnecting with my siblings for our 1-year birthday celebration at the park. I missed them so much! My human said that I was the most energetic she’s ever seen me. Well, that was until she took me out to a field filled with this cold, white, fluffy stuff and let me play around… I think she calls it snow. I was flipping with joy!

Well, that’s all for now. I can’t wait for my human to finish her exams at school so that we can go on long walks around Vancouver.

Bye for now,
Mochi
