Summer started with a great outing on Canada Day to Granville Island! Olé and his brother Encore mingled with the crowds, settled at restaurants, and took the Aquabus like supawstars! His next adventure was an introduction to Paddle Boarding… and lake swimming. While he looked great and had amazing form on the SUP, he’s still not sure about all that water, so more practice is needed! The next weekend, Olé and all 4 of his brothers and sisters happened to be volunteering at the same event for PADS! And to all our surprise, the pup’s mama, PADS Pear arrived. Suffice it to say it was an amazing family reunion, even with the pups having to be reminded that the milk bar was closed!!
Mid-month, we went up to the Sunshine Coast for a few days – Olé was amazing and going with the flow. He settled into new accommodations and enjoyed days exploring the coastline. He perhaps had the most fun when he met up with the most handsome Golden, Hagis!
This last week, Ole was recovering from some dental surgery, but if you ask him, I’m sure he’d say, “No big deal”! That may or may not be because he was on wet, delicious dog food for a couple of days!
