Our family got a new family dog this month, and Icelandic Sheep Dog. Peyto has been SOOOOOOOOOOO good with the new dog – extraordinarily gentle, patient and appropriate. There was the odd time where Peyto got a bit excited to play with the new dog, but quickly settled into appropriate play. She has not guarded food, and is very good about sharing toys. We couldn’t be happier with how she is with our new dog.
We’re working on changing our default position. She still tends to be closer to the front (at about 5 o’clock) and we’re working so that she’s more at 6:30 :). We’re also working on making sure she’s nice and close.
