December was an eventful month, with some action-packed activities along with some very sedentary moments. I got spayed on Dec. 6th so spent many a day safely recovering in my fashion onesie! On Day 8 I went to spend Christmas with my other raisers. I had another week of slowly ramping up my pursuits. My incision healed perfectly (thank you Kelowna South Mission Animal Hospital) and I was ready to roll!!ย
Since there was no snow in the valley, I went to Silver Star and the snow made me super zoomy. Then I had a couple of other snowy hikes on/off leash up another mountain. I wore funky boots on one walk as my paws werenโt used to the cold snow (booties are now called the giddy-mitties)!ย
I finally got to have a playdate with Pads Jelly and then another with young Walter, before heading back to my other home to ring in the New Year. Lots of change coming in 2024 – hoping for good things!
