Reese at 9 weeks
Hi Everyone
My name is Reese, and I’m told that I was born into Clove and Pride’s Hallowe’en Treats Litter, so my brothers and sisters and I were all named after human candy!ย There’s Skittle, Pixie, Mars, Rolo, Jolly, Twix, Dove, and me – Reese.ย I get called “Reese’s Pieces” sometimes…or even “Reese-a-Roni”.ย I come running to anything, though, because I REALLY like treats!
Many people think I’m a boy dog.ย I don’t know why; maybe because I’m a black Lab, like my dad, Pride.ย Some days I think I should wear a pink ribbon on the top of my head.
I’m not sure what I want to do in life yet.ย Somedays I think I would be a good winter boot – it’s fun to curl up and nap in the boot tray.ย Or maybe a door stop – I fit really well across the bottom of a door and could keep all the drafts out.ย ย I could be a really cool garden ornament, too.

My uncles had a word with me at Christmas, though, and explained that I am destined to be an Assistance Dog.ย My uncles are Yellow Labs, and look like my mom, Clove.ย There’s Uncle Xavier, Uncle Linus and Uncle Matcha.ย I live with Uncle Linus.ย I am going to take their advice and work REALLY HARD to become the best Assistance Dog I can!
