Winter in Calgary is kinda long and dreary.Β I love the snow, but I’m not so keen on the cold temperatures.Β But there are Chinooks here that melt the snow once in a while and that’s really fun because it makes mud in the yard.Β I like running through the mud and getting my paws all wet and dirty. (No one can tell, because I have black fur, right?)
Most of the time I have to stay clean, though.Β I am working hard on sitting still for pictures.Β Do you think I look like my dad, Pride?Β I sure do!
The sun is warming things up even more now in the garden, and that means plants are growing and bugs are starting to walk around.Β Β I found where the tulips were starting to sprout and ate all the tips.Β No one was impressed, but they DID taste SO good.Β Then I snuffled in the dead leaves under the hedge and something there found ME!Β I don’t know what it was, but I got hives ALL over my eyes and muzzle.Β That was NOT fun, and I had to go to the vet to get some pills to make me feel better.
We’ve been going on more field trips for puppy class, and I like to work for other handlers too.Β I always sit nicely and look attentively at them so they will remember their training and give me treats.Β Β They do really well at remembering to give us puppies treats!
