Since we returned from our USA vacation we have been in mandatory isolation due to COVID-19. PADS classes at the Calgary Training Centre have also been cancelled but we switched to a virtual classroom. We are given weekly assignments and submit videos of our pup’s progress. These training sessions, along with making the videos, give us a new appreciation of Hollywood!
First we rehearse – which is educational in itself about the pup’s behaviour and the raisers’ behaviour. Then it comes to the actual shooting of the video, which can take several takes before you get to the final result because you are correcting pups, raisers, and the camera personβs behaviours … βOops! I forgot to push record.β
All fun and educational for everyone involved!
