My new Mom and I have been very busy this June, going to Eric Harvie Elementary School to “work”. My Mom says I have adjusted well to my new surroundings, which includes getting used to my new friend, Hope, who is a therapy rabbit. The staff, students, and parents comment that I am very calm and friendly, and the students are helping me with my training by not petting me when I lick.
I’ve enjoyed many field trips this month, including participating in meet-and-greets at the PADS Calgary Open House, and the Family Fun Day at Rotary Challenger Park. My loose leash walking is excellent on both sides, because I always practice on the right side with Mom and on the left side with Dad. I am currently working hard to perfect my position changes (stand to sit, sit to stand), as these are tricky for me.
