As we spent another month on summer break, Rosie got a change of scenery by starting the month with a visit with her previous puppy raiser. She enjoyed two drive through fair experiences from the comfort of the car. During online puppy classes we have been talking about engagement and dog interactions. To practice what we learned, I arranged training outings with other PADS puppies. We have been going for walks in parking lots and Rosie has been engaging better with other dogs around. This activity is the most difficult with her best friend puppy, but it is important for them to learn that they don’t get to play every time they see each other. Next month brings the return of school and more structure to our days.
