Russell says, “The weather has been so weird this fall! Snow early in the month that was so much fun to bound and snort through, followed by sunny warm weather later in the month which lent itself to long, lazy days of lying under the lilac bush on the warm grass. Then, horror of horrors: it was suddenly Halloween, and my Raiser insisted on building a strange costume that took days to build, and several “try-ons” – which is understandable because it was so VERY awkward to walk around in! Everyone kept calling my costume “Beach Buddies”, and I don’t even drink beer, so I have no idea why it was so amusing. But I won a prize for Best Costume in the “over 16 month” class – I liked that, because I won a great stuffie to prance around with!”
