Russet is 10 months old and has had an exciting month! He attended a medieval faire, helped deliver donuts for a PADS fundraiser, and went camping for the first time. At the PADS Calgary Open House, he posed with his βbig sisterβ PADS Advanced Dog Gucci to show how much growing heβs done in the past 7 months.
At puppy class, Russet has been working on staying in a βdownβ when his handler stands up from a seated position. Rather than anticipating whatβs going to happen next from body cues, he is learning to wait until he is given a different command (e.g. βstandβ).
