This month, Russet went on a field trip to Stage West dinner theatre to watch a dress rehearsal of their latest production. Usually he is the only puppy watching a play, but this time there were more than 20 puppies!
Russet is doing well going to work with me at the vet clinic. The βgo inβ command tells him to go under the reception desk, turn around, and lie down. Then, training treats help to reinforce his choice to stay in a “down” position.
At puppy class this month, we learned about turning βdistractionsβ into βmotivationsβ for positive behaviour.
