In September, Shasta spent half the month with her sitter recovering from being spayed and working diligently on her house manners. When she came back to campus, she unfortunately regressed on her crating. We did crate games to build a positive association with the crate again. After a few different kibble games with Shasta, she will eventually go into the kennel but is hesitant at first. On walks, she will scavenge for all the fallen leaves, flowers and “treats”. We are using Body Blocking and using our feet to cover what she is aiming for. She loved seeing all her furiends at the campus again, she played wonderfully with them! Over the month, she got many belly and butt scratches and got cuddles from everyone. Keep up the great work Shasta!
